I bought this hoping it would comfort an anxious cat on car rides. He seems to like it alright but the heartbeat didn’t do is much good because the batteries didn’t even last the 6-hour car ride. That’s a lot of power for a couple of hours of heartbeat.The unicorn is very nice! I’d love to find a replacement heart that uses less battery.My new pup had trouble to sleep in kennel and always cried. We bought her the cuddle buddy and she likes it because she never tried to eat it ( she eats everything) and can sleep almost the whole night. The only thing I want to point out is that the heart beat stops after certain time (we don’t know how long, but every morning when we get up, the heart beat already stopped).Chip is a mini dashund and Uni is the enemy. He loves it!!!I rarely use the heartbeat option.We got a 7 wk old Jack Russell puppy 4 days ago and she has cried at night in her crate. I bought her this heartbeat unicorn and OMG! I’m shocked. It actually did work! I kept checking on her all night expecting to hear her crying and nothing. She slept all night long. Wish I would have bought this 3 days ago. Best 25 bucks I’ve ever spent!
