Ok, hear me out. When I first saw this I was really skeptical. So on a whim I bought this so my child and I could play together. Mind you, I do have an actual Kyosho mini Z 4x4 to compare this to. So when this rc was delivered we opened it up and I was really surprised and impressed. This thing is an obvious knock-off of the Kyosho. It seems to have even used some of the Kyosho branded molds. Most of the materials (plastics) used are negligibly cheaper quality, but at this size and speed I can't seem to find an issue with the operation. I can say that it is louder than the real Kyosho. The motor, gear box, and steering servo are all a bit noisier. They work just fine so far, just not as "nice". So, overall for the $80 +/- this thing is really pretty good when you put it next to the $200 Kyosho. I do not condone the theft of Kyosho's intellectual property, but while trying to be a frugal consumer this is hard to beat. If you want the Kyosho, it is actually nicer all around -buy it. If you want a really good knock-off of a really good rc 4x4 for less than half the price (and don't mind the copyright issues that may be included) this kit is hard to beat.
