I got this for my nephew. I have yet to hear whether he loved it or hated it as my sister hasn't really been very communicative.Not my kids top Minecraft set. I bought it really just to have the white bricks..and the cool translucent blue!! My boys are not into minecraft, yet they have at least 5 Lego Minecraft sets and just enjoy them for the fact that they are LEGO sets. The characters included in these sets are a fun addition to play.I have a 6 year old and it was a bit discouraging for him to try to build as there were many, many small pieces and some seriously detailed instructions to follow. Pay attention to the age guide - otherwise good classic Legos...and what child doesn't love Minecraft?My 6 year old son and husband are having an absolutely blast with this toy. They love that there are multiple options for building. Legos really are a great toy for your children to learn and engineer. It is nice to see them spending time with non-electronic toys. We expect this toy to bring many hours of fun. Cannot wait to have my younger son be able to play with this someday too.My youngest son received this as a present and he loves it. He did build it like it was suppose to be at first now he just makes random things out of it and adds other Lego's to it. He really loved it.Just as described and fast shipping. Great price - will be great for my older kids on those summer days when its too hot to go outside. My son built it today and it looks great. Its very detailed and looks just like the game. It has an "exploding" floor and "shooting" snowballs.We will find out Christmas Day this is a gift.He loved the gift.Went to a little one (8 1/2) celebrating being in full remission of leukemia.
