The kids use this mostly to pour water into and while some bubbles do come out, it doesn't make bubbles to fill the tub with bubbles as I had hoped. You basically pour bubble mix into the lion and then there is a little puff of air when you move the toothbrush that when combined with water being poured in the top will yield some bubbles. Not really enough to make a difference in the tub. It's still fun for them to play with but they wanted the tub full of bubbles, for that I just pour it right into the faucet while the tub is filling.
